Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation - Reporting me Late to credit Bureau after insurance paid them
I am not happy with Nissan at the moment as they just reported me late to the credit bureaus. My car was stolen on January 10, and even though the insurance company deemed it a total loss and paid them over $19,000.00, they still reported me as 30 days to the credit bureaus even after telling me that I had 30 days to pay the balance due because I was upside down in a vehicle financed by them.
Way to go Nissan - what incentive does that give me to pay the balance due zero.
The representative even told me that they would not be able to give a reduced payoff of the balance, but if they sent it to a collections agency, I could get it reduced then. Wow, so much for screwing over the consumer!
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Monetary Loss: $3000.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation Pros: Interest rate they offered.
Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation Cons: Unwillingness to work with me with my loss.

You were upside down in the deal because YOU caused it! How?
YOU agreed to a deal with little or no down payment...YOU agreed to a deal stretching out the payments for far too long...YOU traded in a vehicle you were still paying on. So don't blame them for the things YOU had 100% control over and no, I don't work for them!
Oh I see...in very typical deadbeat fashion YOU were late paying but it's all their fault, right? Where do you sorry people come from?
Anonymous - you must have misread my rant. I WAS NOT 30 DAYS LATE YOU ***!
